Key Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (BY SKILL AREA)
✔ GRAPHIC DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES
Design social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Create ad creatives for Google & Meta Ads
Design banners, thumbnails, and basic marketing visuals
Follow brand guidelines and themes
Revise designs based on feedback (reasonable revisions)
Tools Preferred:
Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
✔ SEO RESPONSIBILITIES
On-page SEO optimization (titles, meta descriptions, headings)
Keyword research (local & service-based)
Optimize Google Business Profiles
Basic technical SEO coordination (with guidance)
SEO reporting (rankings, visibility, traffic trends)
Tools Preferred:
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs / SEMrush / Ubersuggest
✔ GOOGLE & META ADS RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search & Display)
Set up and manage Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
Ad copywriting & creative coordination
Conversion tracking setup (with guidance)
Monitor performance and optimize for CPL/ROI
Prepare basic ad performance reports
Important:
Ad spend is managed by the client. You manage strategy & optimization.
✔ VIDEO EDITOR – REELS & SHORTS
Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts)
Add captions, text overlays, transitions, basic animations
Maintain brand tone & pacing
Optimize videos for engagement (hooks, timing, format)
Tools Preferred:
CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, VN, or similar
Nice to Have
Experience working on monthly retainers
Familiarity with Canadian or North American markets
Ability to handle multiple clients/projects
Understanding of lead generation funnels
Role Overview
We are looking for a Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist who can support one or more of the following areas:
Graphic Design
SEO (On-page & Local)
Google Ads & Meta Ads
Short-form Video (Reels & Shorts)
You do not need to be an expert in everything — but you must be strong in at least one area and comfortable working within a structured agency environment.
COMPENSATION (INDICATIVE)
Based on experience & skill area:

Long-term freelancers may be moved to monthly fixed retainers
