Required Skills & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–5 years of accounting experience (based on role level)
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping & accounting principles
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations
Prepare and review financial statements & reports
Handle accounts payable/receivable
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing
Support tax filings (HST/GST, T2/T1, payroll, etc.)
Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards
Nice to Have
CPA designation or pursuing CPA
Experience with Canadian tax regulations
Payroll processing experience
Industry experience in IT, HR, or professional services
